Magic Lesson Gift Certificate - Private Lesson
If you would like to give a Lesson Gift Certificate for someone in the Chicago area, or someone passing through, this is the easiest way to do it. If you are planning on taking a magic class yourself, you do not need to purchase a lesson gift certificate, you can pay for it the day of the class. You do, however need to call ahead to schedule it. For more information please read on. If you have any further questions, please do not hesitate to ask. You can email your questions to email@example.com, or call the shop (773) 334-2855 during store hours.
Please Note: You will need to provide us with the full name of the person receiving the certificate, as well as the name of the person, family or institution giving the gift. There will be a $1.00 charge to process and mail the certificate to the recipient. If you get several Gift Certificates in the same order, you only pay $1 to ship them all (we will adjust this as we process your order). The certificates will be mailed out to the person listed on the shipping address shortly after we process payment.
We will include redemption instructions with the certificate, but for your benefit, here they are:
- Please call at least a week ahead to schedule your lesson, that way we can have the most suitable teacher available for you.
- Don’t forget to bring in you gift certificate in on the day of the lesson. We will need to verify it against our records.
- Lessons are about 45 minutes in duration.
The classes are customized, to make the best use of the student's time, skills and interests. They last about 45 minutes each, although the first session might go a little over that, since we need to assess skills and interests. Classes are one on one, but if you are interested in taking the class with a friend, we have special rates for that, as long as both people are learning the same material. We can also arrange for group classes, as long as everybody in the group is OK with learning the same tricks. We mostly give lessons over the weekend, but we can arrange to give them almost at any time during store hours, as long as we have enough staff in the store that day to cover counter demonstrations, etc.
All of our teachers are professional magicians working full or part-time. Depending on what material you were looking to learn we would pair you up with a teacher. Right now we have students that come in for lessons once a week, once a month or a couple times a year, as need arises. Some people want to learn one specific thing, and they come once or more times until they are happy with their performance. Some people want to learn new things every week. All we have to do is find out what kind of magic you would like to learn, what days work best for you, and we can take it from there.
In the world of magic, the secret is told when the trick is sold. Accordingly, Magic Inc. has a strict no-refund policy. Thus, once you receive an item, you have access to the secrets included, and that is not something that we can get back from you. For this reason, we do not issue refunds and we do not exchange product that is in working order. However, if the merchandise should be defective, we will gladly replace it with a non-defective version of the same trick. No exceptions.
