Summer Magic Camp - 2021
Because of the current COVID-19 pandemic, we have re-structured our summer camp so our students can learn from home. Our first Online Summer Magic Camp was a great success, and we've made some changes to make this year even better!
Here are the bullet points on our camp this year:
- Virtual summer camp, a combination of LIVE Zoom classes and pre-recorded lessons
- JULY 12th THROUGH JULY 23rd
Live sessions Monday and Friday, video sessions Tuesday and Thursday.
- Live sessions are scheduled, recorded sessions are distributed on Tuesday, and precise time is left up to the household.
- Classes are limited to 15 students per session.
- Recommended ages between 9 and 14 year old
The week before camp starts you will receive a package in the mail with all of the special props you may need to be able to build, learn and perform your magic right at home. Please allow time for delivery before the start of camp date.
You may need to supplement our package with some basic craft supplies such as tape, glue, scissors, crayons or marker, etc.
For one hour each session students will be taught the secrets of magic by instructor Mister Danny and Magic, Inc.'s professional magic staff. At Magic Camp kids will learn more than just how to do tricks... they’ll learn how to PERFORM. In addition, they’ll learn how to construct some of their own magic props.
Each day they will learn tricks they can put together with things they have at home, as well as learn how to properly perform with some of the commercial classics of our trade. Additionally they will learn magic with seemingly ordinary objects. They will spend their time learning to entertain their audiences with magic using cards, coins, sponge balls and other small things.
Students will learn how to take their magic to the next level, so their performances are engaging and entertaining.
Throughout the process, students will build on their public speaking skills, self-confidence, and will learn to put together their own magic show for their families, all from the comfort and safety of their own home.
Magic Camp will be divided into two groups based on recommended age and skill level. That said, students can join both groups if they feel like they want to maximize their experience - just remember to add both camps when registering.
The material on each session will be the same, with more sessions added if necessary. The meeting times will be as follows:
Session 1: From 10:00 A.M. to 11:00 A.M. CDT
Session 2: From 11:30 A.M. to 12:30 P.M. CDT
Feel free to call our store with any questions concerning our Summer Magic Camp at (773) 334-2855.
In the world of magic, the secret is told when the trick is sold. Accordingly, Magic Inc. has a strict no-refund policy. Thus, once you receive an item, you have access to the secrets included, and that is not something that we can get back from you. For this reason, we do not issue refunds and we do not exchange product that is in working order. However, if the merchandise should be defective, we will gladly replace it with a non-defective version of the same trick. No exceptions.
