"After being legitimately blindfolded a pack of unprepared cards were handed Vernon, who proceeded to shuffle same after which they were cut. Five hands of poker were dealt out and the performer showed his hand to contain the four aces. However, this was merely preliminary to the amazing demonstration that followed. Using the same pack and again shuffling, it was cut by a spectator. Five more hands were slowly dealt to as many spectators."

"The first spectator was informed accurately as to what cards he held. He was instructed how to discard to fill the hand. This uncanny procedure was continued with the three other volunteers as each discarded and drew to Mr. Vernon's command. For the climax, he picked up his own hand, discarded one, miraculously drew an ace and revealed a royal flush in spades ... a veritable knockout! "
